Dede Padi (Padiki) Unveils World’s Largest Leaf Print Painting at National Theatre
Ghanaian visual artist Sharon Dede Padi, popularly known as Padiki, has officially unveiled the world’s largest leaf print painting at the National Theatre of Ghana, marking a historic milestone in Ghana’s creative arts industry.
The unveiling ceremony attracted art lovers, media personalities, dignitaries, and members of the public who gathered to witness the remarkable achievement.
Padiki’s artwork earned her recognition from Guinness World Records for creating the largest painting made entirely with leaf prints. The record-breaking artwork measures approximately 54.33 square metres (584.8 square feet) and features a creative representation of the Flag of Ghana, symbolizing national pride and cultural identity.
The project highlights the artist’s dedication to innovation in visual arts and her passion for promoting Ghanaian creativity on the global stage.
