Chairman Wontumi Meets TESCON, Promises Job Opportunities for Youth Ahead of NPP Chairmanship Race

Chairman Wontumi today held a meeting with TESCON members and students of the University of Ghana Business School as part of his ongoing consultations and campaign activities ahead of the NPP National Chairmanship race.


The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) used the occasion to interact with the students, share his vision for the party, and rally support from the youth wing of the party as the NPP prepares for the 2028 general elections.


Addressing the gathering, Chairman Wontumi stressed the need for the party to remain united and focused, while also empowering young people with opportunities that will improve their future.


He assured the students that under his leadership as National Chairman, the party would prioritise youth empowerment and employment opportunities.
According to Chairman Wontumi, “God willing, I will create jobs for the youth when I become NPP National Chairman.”


He further encouraged TESCON members to remain active, loyal, and committed to the ideals of the NPP, describing the youth as the backbone of the party’s future electoral success.
The meeting was attended by several TESCON executives, party supporters, and students, with many expressing excitement over Chairman Wontumi’s engagement and vision for the party ahead of the next internal elections.
