Kuntanase Government Hospital Commends Chairman Wontumi for Ambulance Donation and Settling Patients’ Medical Bills

Kuntanase Government Hospital has officially expressed appreciation to Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, for donating an ambulance to the facility and settling the medical bills of admitted patients during his 50th birthday celebration.


In a letter dated May 6, 2026, and signed by the Acting Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Eric Oduro-Adjei, management, staff, and patients of the hospital conveyed their profound gratitude for the generous support.


According to the hospital, the ambulance donation will significantly improve healthcare delivery and emergency response services within the Kuntanase/Bosomtwe District.


The hospital also praised Chairman Wontumi for paying the bills of patients who were on admission during his birthday celebration, describing the gesture as one of compassion and service to humanity.


“We assure you that the ambulance will be maintained and used for the benefit of patients and the hospital. The people of Kuntanase/Bosomtwe district will remember this gesture of service and compassion,” portions of the letter stated.


The management of Kuntanase Government Hospital further wished Chairman Wontumi success in his future endeavors and thanked him for his invaluable contribution to the health facility and the community.
