President Mahama Receives Honorary PhD from Yonsei University in South Korea

President John Dramani Mahama has been awarded an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Public Administration by Yonsei University in Seoul.


The prestigious honour was conferred in recognition of President Mahama’s contributions to Ghana’s national transformation and economic development, as well as his leadership in public service and democratic governance.


According to the university, the award celebrates President Mahama’s role in strengthening democratic institutions in Ghana and his commitment to policies aimed at improving infrastructure, governance, and economic growth.


The conferment ceremony took place as part of President Mahama’s official visit to the South Korea, where he has been engaging with government officials, academic institutions, and business leaders.


His visit is aimed at deepening cooperation between Ghana and South Korea, particularly in areas such as technology, education, investment, and economic development.
