by | Mar 29, 2026

Aspiring National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, has delivered a strong and emotionally charged message as he continues his nationwide campaign, outlining his determination to lead the party to victory in the 2028 general elections.

Addressing party faithful during his tour, Chairman Wontumi emphasized sacrifice, resilience, and grassroots mobilization as the key pillars for the NPP’s comeback.

“I don’t mind losing everything if it means the NPP will win the 2028 elections,” he declared, underscoring his commitment to the party’s success above personal interest.

He further stressed that electoral victory is not determined by academic credentials or fluency in English but by effective grassroots engagement.

“Fluency in English does not win elections; it is the ability to work from the grassroots that will secure victory in 2028. It is the grassroots that win elections, not English or certificates,” he stated.

Chairman Wontumi also positioned himself as a resilient leader ready for the challenges ahead, boldly declaring, “I am built for the battle ahead,” while likening his political journey to that of a biblical underdog.

“I am the David of the New Patriotic Party,” he added, signaling his readiness to overcome obstacles and lead the party to victory.

As part of his vision, he pledged to empower constituency-level leadership across the country, promising logistical support to strengthen their operations.

“I will empower NPP constituency chairmen and executives with the necessary logistics to work towards victory in 2028 if I become National Chairman,” he assured.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to party unity, noting that bringing members together under a common goal would be critical for success in the next elections.

“I will unite the NPP for our victory in the 2028 general elections,” he emphasized.

Chairman Wontumi’s ongoing tour continues to focus on engaging grassroots members and party executives, as he rallies support for his bid to lead the NPP into what he describes as a decisive and winnable 2028 electoral battle.
