The Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment, led by Hon. George Opare Addo, has officially launched the YouthXplore App and the National Youth Tracker Platform at a high-profile event held at Fiesta Royale Hotel in Accra.
The launch brought together key figures in Ghana’s youth-development space, including Osman Abdulai Ayariga, Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA); Dr. Betty Simawua Annan, Country Director of AGRA; and Ms. Ruth Dela Seddoh, Executive Director of the National Service Authority (NSA).
In his address, Hon. George Opare Addo announced that the YouthXplore App will officially be available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store on 3rd December 2025, giving Ghanaian youth nationwide access to a unified hub for skills training, job opportunities, digital learning, and career development.
He emphasized that the platform represents a major step toward integrating youth services and creating a seamless system that supports the growth, development, and employability of young people across the country.
The CEO of the National Youth Authority, Osman Abdulai Ayariga, praised the initiative as a game-changer that will bridge opportunity gaps and link young talents directly to training and employment pipelines. Dr. Betty Simawua Annan of AGRA highlighted the strong collaboration between government and development partners, noting that such partnerships are essential for scaling impact and empowering Ghana’s youth at all levels.
The event featured live demonstrations of the app and discussions on digital transformation in youth empowerment. Stakeholders unanimously lauded the initiative as timely, innovative, and aligned with Ghana’s broader development agenda.
The YouthXplore App goes live 3rd December 2025 on major app platforms, marking a new era in digital youth empowerment.
