During an eye-opening session on Day 2 of the ongoing Healing Streams Live Healing Services, the man of God, Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, DSc., DSc., DD, shared a practical yet profound teaching that connected spiritual wisdom with everyday living.

He drew attention to something most people rarely think about โ€” the right body position during bowel movement โ€” and explained how it affects oneโ€™s health and comfort.

According to Pastor Chris, the way the puborectalis muscle functions determines how easily the body releases waste. In the typical sitting position used on modern toilets, this muscle remains partially contracted, which creates a bend in the recto-anal angle and can make defecation more difficult. However, in the squatting posture, that angle straightens naturally, allowing for smoother, more complete bowel movements.

He emphasized that taking oneโ€™s time and maintaining a relaxed posture are essential for good digestive and physical health. To achieve the natural squatting effect even when using regular toilets, Pastor Chris suggested the simple use of a footstool or raised support under the feet.

He concluded by encouraging everyone to care for their bodies with wisdom and understanding, reminding the audience that divine insight applies to every aspect of life โ€” even the most ordinary.
